    Straight forward question, as usual.

How do you deal with stress? You can include coping methods, such as music, art, or good company, that's fine, but I'm more curious as to, how do you respond/react?

Do you shy away? Do you find somebody more capable? Do you analyze the situation, then make a decision? Or, do you just go totally ballistic and hope for the best?

I generally become rather reclusive, until I can think about whatever it is that causes me such stress. Then, once I am over it, I will decide whether to go and fix it, or simply leave it be.

I will usually listen to music and not talk for a while. Sometimes I will just tell myself "I dont give a shit" to what ever is giving me the stress and then I start to feel better. But from your options I will probably go with going ballistic and hope for the best.

I usually just listen to music and stay away from my family who irritate me at the best of times. Once I feel more level headed I tend to try and deal with what is causing the stress, that's the plan at any rate!

Meditate, clench fist, listen to very loud music. Depends on the situation, meditation helps a lot for me.

I usually just put on a strong face and suppress all of the stress deep down inside of me. However, this doesn't help sometimes as all of this stress comes back to me and I normally break down crying :frowning2:

    I self harm, sometimes draw.

I don't deal well with stress, a low breaking point I guess.

On a stressful day, I get off the train three stops before the closest one to my house. This is so I can run the rest of the way. It's very satisfying.

Stress is the only way to motivate me. Nothing will get done until it's the last minute and I'm tearing my hair out in panic.

I punch walls. It really works. Stress is essentially a physical reaction designed to respond to physical danger, but we don't tend to face much of that these days. So the physical activity, coupled with the resulting pain of having hit a wall actually helps a lot.

It depends in what kind of stress it is.

If it's anything to do with conflict, then i usually withdrawn and go into hiding.. I have often tried finding a place in my room wether it be under my bed, under my covers or in my wardrobe where I can just literally hide. I am usually in tears by that time as well..

When I am stressed from other reasons, I usually try to calm myself by reading, or listening to music, think about what is going on in more detail and then try to make a decision if a decision needs to be made once I have calmed down. I usually don't make any big decisions without having a clear mind.

I tend to punch and kick my punching bag. Jog/run, or swim (when it is warmer out).

If possible, I like to retreat and meditate. I don't like leaving things unresolved for too long, because it begins to bother me, that I'm not fixing it.

Humor, too. But, if the stress is bad enough, I'll stop cracking jokes. That is when you really have to be on the alert, the moment I stop cracking jokes, is the moment I got serious.

My instinct is to hide, get quiet, and make it worse.

I'm trying to learn better, ask for help. I listen to music now, a lot of times songs from MLP.

Also, I try to be crazy-prepared to try to reduce my stress.

    Poorly.

I tend to be real organized and plan everything so I have less stress. I have or had some friends who plan nothing and a generally messy and they drive me crazy.
