    If not, why?

If so, is your sexual orientation/gender visible? And how many friends do you have?

I do, I have my gender identity as transmasculine and my sexual orientation as bisexual. I required to have a facebook for my college program, since I am going into the journalism field.

No, I don't. I never used it, so it seemed pointless to keep it.

Yes although some days I wish I didn't have it. I have my gender but not sexual orientation displayed. When I do come out I probably will not display it anyways since I don't need/care to have everyone know about it.

I have Facebook, yeah. Not that I use it much.

And I've never put any of my relationship stuff on Facebook, and I probably never will, even if I figure out my sexual orientation etc.

I do, and yes, my sexuality and gender are visible. When I first signed up for Facebook, I was closeted, so I put "Interested in: Women" at first, and then before I even officially came out, I changed it to "men" and I remember a friend asking me if I noticed I had it set wrong. hee hee

Yes but my gender is still at female and my sexuality on there is bisexual. I doubt anyone looks at that stuff anymore but I couldn't take that kind of risk. There are a lot of people on my FB who don't know about my transitioning. I know that many wouldn't care but I don't know how others would react and I really don't want to get into it with them right now.

I deactivated mine. It was a constant daily reminder of the ongoing family soap opera, so I got rid of it.

I have it, have no idea why, never use it and my orientation is straight because my family and this entire crappy town are homophobic and I don't want to go through bullying again so soon.

Yes I do, I don't use it very much. My orientation was ''attracted to girls'' but now it shows no orientation whatsoever.

Yup, three of them actually. One for personal stuff that is very secret! One for my alter ego where i allow myself to be more silly and one for testing out apps.

Gender and sexual orientation are both visible but, due to not having a lot of friends, it's not really an issue. I mean, no one has bothered to question the validity of my status...

    1. Yes.

    2. I'm a straight dude.

    3. Just three, technically four. My aunt and two uncles. I had another girl, but she hasn't logged on in forever and her account is deactivated. For some reason it shows I have four and I can't see her though. Met her back in high school.

    I don't.

I'm old-fashioned and strongly dislike all this social-media shite.

I have it, wish I didn't have so many relatives who also do. It would make me less nervous about coming out in my town before coming out to family. I never filled out my "interested in" section because it was always a bit of a question mark for me.

    I do not.

Mostly because it becomes a breeding ground for drama, and acquaintances to try and achieve some form of unwanted communication. The people I want to talk to have my cell number, and I see regularly, so Facebook just seems more of a hassle than a advantage.

Although I would probably have my sexual orientation on there if I did - but not my gender.

I used to but I disabled my account. Facebook makes me miserable and more socially anxious than I already am. I use steam for socializing instead. At least then I can play games with friends rather than "liking" quotes or posts. Eventually I will probably have to do the social media thing for business reasons, but I am putting that off as long as possible!
