Do mermaids truly exist ?

No. Animal planet or discover channel, idk one of them, had a fake documentary on it though. Mermaids are as real as I am straight.

 

I doubt it. I pretty much live in the ocean (well, I can see it outside of my windows) and I've never seen one. I never believed they were anything but stories.

 

I am not sure about mermaids but I met quite a few girls that smelled like they were part fish!

 

I don't know, there are still undiscovered places on earth so..

 

They're about as real as god is.

If they are real and are as cute as they are in movies then god help me! I would be on the look for them straight away! I just wouldn't want them to seduce me and then kill me! Just be cute in the water and do your adorable mermaid thing while I watch in aw :love:

I honestly couldn't say yes or no to the question.. I mean it's not impossible for them to exist.. I don't think? But I honestly don't think it would be possible for them to change to human on land from water. But who knows?!

If anyone has seen Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.. The seriously cute mermaid in that movie that gets taken by the pirates is like an instant heartbreaker. I would be so inlove with her if she was real that I wouldn't care if she seduced me then killed me! I'm also really jelous of one of the pirates when they get romantic with her. :lol:

sometimes, i feel like the guy at the end of the zoolander movie where he is talking about zoolander's different "looks" and that they're all the same, the part where he says AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT'S NOTICED THIS? I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS

 

I would rather just cuddle them.. Sure it would be nice to have sex with them gorgeous creatures but I love them enough in movies that I would rather just hug them without them dragging me into the water and killing me!

I doubt it. Though there's a lot of sea creatures that is yet to be discovered, I don't think a part human part fish is one.

I think this one that will always remain a fantasy in movies or tv.. I don't think there is such thing as mermaids, I think they have been romanticized a little too much. Dolphins would be the closest species as they have the same kind of tail or fin.
