How about McCain's chief of staff? Maybe he could tell her what McCain's policies are as a sort of icebreaker...

I don't think I could stand to be friends with any high-end politicians. Certainly not someone who's part of a church with a conversion therapy deal going on.

I think Dan Savage needs a straight friend. Why else would he post a video on youtoube, asking for someones friendship? Because Sarah Palin needs a gay friend? I don't think I'm the only one to notice a certain abscense of logic there (And if I am, that would be because every other person is an idiot).

  12. Lol my views tend to be liberal republican too. I could be her friend, but I would end up just hitting on her so it would be counterproductive.

One of the comments. I laughed so hard. I still think she is one sexy librarian though.

Sarah Palin needs a lot more than a gay friend to change her very strong conservative views. Lol.

I think Sarah Palin needs a brain.

Seriously, it will be interesting to see what happens in the VP debate. We have heard virtually nothing of Biden over here - but surely he can't be as much of a walking Faux Pas as Palin? Not that I know a lot about here either - but there has been more media coverage of her, I have watched a couple of YouTube clips of her being interviewed - and she seems completely, mind numbingly, out of her depth.

The fact that she is running mate to someone in his seventies, about whose health/prospective longevity I know very little, is something I find rather alarming (hopefully enough Americans will come to the same conclusion).
