Do a lot of us now watch porn and even have addiction to porn ? Are a lot more people watching porn now than before and maybe most of the population views porn ?
For someone the porn is part of their lives, is like smoking or i dont know, but in some cases the porn is addiction. And yes more people watching porn now than before.
I believe so. It's so much easier to access porn sites with everyone having a smart phone, tablets, laptops for personal use. Wi-fi is everywhere too so, they don't need to have internet on their own home, they can easily find access to internet someplace else. They might not be addicted to it but, it's surely something that is more viewed by this generation than other before it.
I think that it depends on the person, but in general, I think so too. That being said, it depends on the country as well. Some countries block the internet, making it difficult (sometimes even almost impossible) to find porn. It depends on the country you live in as well.
It's now a lot easier to see porn and now you can get a lot for free without the embarrassment of going to a adult shop. All about the net
Well, this one is kinda obvious - people gained access to computers, broadband internet, google and huge free porn sites only recently, so before that you had to buy magazines or tapes in stores (which i imagine to be pretty embarassing). I'm not against porn but some of that stuff is pretty disturbing, like holy shit :icon_eek:
I think It's a LOT easier to find these days. I watch porn, but I'm not really 'porn driven'. Like, I'm not addicted and normally don't do it more than once a week. It really depends.
People tend to think the whole porn thing these days is purely related to the easy access to it, while in reality it comes from two key factors. First, people opening their minds, thus turning masturbation into "something that's not that bad". The second aspect is our idea of porn. Back in the day chances are people considered naked ankles as 'pornographic'. That second one's just a guess, though. Do please correct me if I'm wrong.
Obviously explicit porn is much easier to access than it was even 15 years ago. Until recently, it was just mags, erotic literature and drawings. People had to use their imaginations more...nowadays, not so much. There is evidence to suggest that watching 'too much' porn (however much that is) is harmful for teenagers and young adults because it can lead to unrealistic expectations over sex, and it can make it more difficult to get into the mood without watching porn. But I suspect it's all about moderation.
I think we definitely consume far more of it than we once did. It's so easy to get just about any kind of porn that you could want now a days with the internet.
It's probably due to ease of accessibility to porn, comparing now to say, 1980. I can go online right now and in two seconds have porn. It's that simple.
I won't ever understand the appeal of porn... Either way, I'd have to agree with a lot of it being the easier access to it, too. Just about everybody has a smartphone/tablet nowadays, or at least access to one of them. You can get it more...anonymously now.
remember getting off to. the sears, swimsuit summer catalogue? hell ye..... then u see a titty in national geographic magazine?? at school?!!?! holy shiiiet kids take a nat geo titty foregranted, just like rice n bean....
I do think it comes down to the fact that porn is much more easily accessible online, I very rarely watch it.. Only every so often so it's not a main focus of my life.
Porn has been popular before I and everyone here was born. The Victorian era had some truly nasty erotic novels. As in, incest, orgies and really hairy people. Yes.
