What do you have to offer to your potential partner?

    I've seen some threads asking what you look for in a partner.

    I was curious about what qualities you would have to offer to your potential partner?

    There is always something great with everyone, and it might feel good determining a list of what makes you valuable and awesome.

    Well, I have no money, house, car, job or anything else material. I'm not desperately attractive, or romantic. But then again, I don't look for those kinds of things in a partner.

    Um... I'm pretty unlikely to cheat.

    More seriously:
    -Not jealous
    -Generous, loyal and honest
    -Smart and philosophical (I'd consider that a bonus, at any rate)
    -Principled and passionate

    I'm loyal, I'm flexible, I'm open to new ideas/activities, umm people tell me I have a sense of humor... I value my personal hygiene? Haha

    It was a little difficult for me to come up with stuff. A little bit of thinking and I came up with these:

    - I'm laid-back and very calm.

    - I'm flexible, and willing to try new things. Well...within a limit. I'll at least try to be open minded. (I've met some people with weird fantasies).

    - I'm a good listener. Being with my talkative friends, I noticed that I do listen attentively, even after long-winded streaks of chatter. I make sure I understand what's being said, and don't interrupt.

    - I like being touchy (hugging, rubbing, cuddling)

    - I'm willing to take the time and effort to make things work in the long-term.

    - I try to be funny? (I can be silly, and depending on the person, be actually funny)

    I don't really know, I'm not that exciting. I guess I'm compassionate, honest and generous and determined. I've been told that I'm witty and sarcastic, too. I'm not sure whether that'd be considered a turn-on or not.

    Too bad I'm single, though. You're probably thinking why some lucky guy hasn't swept me off my feet yet. As I said, I'm not that exciting...

    Forgot to mention, I can make a damn good spaghetti :grin: I'm not a bad cook.

    I guess it depends on the person, but I have also been able to bring up important, but difficult conversations in a comfortable way, but being clear and honest. I won't let things stay festered unnoticed. But that also depends on the person and situation though.
