    Straight forward.

Money isn't a problem, education isn't a problem, and accessibility isn't a problem. You are allowed to decide, what kind of job you would like to do, no matter how outlandish it is. Of course, selecting something more sensible is preferred, but I'm not going to be a Topic Nazi about this.

So, with nothing limiting you, what would you like to do, for a career/job/occupation?

My ideal occupation, what would make me happiest would be perhaps something like a social worker or a counselor and doing basically what I do here, maybe but maybe focus on a certain area.. Like counseling kids with disabilities or other kinds of illnesses. I know it would have been a big help for me to have been in that kind of environment where I was able to hear from older people who had grown up with what I did and how they got through it. I would also like to be able to just give people advice and support similar to what I do on this forum as well. I feel this is my true calling and it would be something I would love to be able to work towards one day.

That's easy. In a perfect world, I'd be a professional photographer.

Oh, I´d definitely love to be an inventor. To know how things do actually work, to put together unexpected connections and see what happens. And, of course, ROBOTS!!!

I would love to be an experimental physicist with a heavy background in engineering. I would love to be on the team at NASA working on faster than light travel. But I have more than a few dreams just the science one having been on the top of my list my whole life. I just lost sight of it in highschool and forgot about it and didn't aim for it. Instead I'm a sign painter which is a blast I've always been a big car/motorcycle but and loved all the high dollar paint jobs, granted I'm not doing high dollar paint jobs but I do a lot of custom paint work and I love it.

If money wasn't a problem I would actually give up all paid work and devote more time to volunteering. I already volunteer around 25 hours a month with a mental health charity, so I'd increase my hours there. I'd also apply to become a Magistrate. It's something I intend to do anyway in the future, but with no money worries and time available I'd do it now.

A photographer, oh! Imagine how fun that would be... getting into people's faces and taking their photos. Through your lens, you get to see the world in a whole other perspective, you begin to notice stuff, that you've never noticed before, you realize how beautiful the world around you is and you get a deeper appreciation for everything and everyone!

    ...or so i've been told.

Good to know I'm not the only one with that dream job! I'd choose either between being a photographer and a concept artist.

Successful musician, writer, and artist in any spare time I have. I want to write songs, perform gigs, publish books, and also draw/paint more as a hobby but still as part of my life.

If I could choose my ideal occupation, it would be either a biochemist, psychologist or engineer.

My actual job as onsite tech is cool enough for me

Other than that... There is a couple of things I wouldn't mind to try, like...

... Which is closely related to what I do anyways.
More stuff that comes to mind... First being a writer. Not an 'author' (think of Pulitzer Prize, etc), but a writer like Stephen King or James Ellroy... Or even like Ed Wood... Writing about what you believe in, stuff that matters to you. In terms of popularity, I don't dream with fame or interviews, or even money. Just to publish and be able to pay for the rent would be enough.

There is also this old dream of being a cowboy/shepherd like the guys in Brokeback Mountain. I wouldn't mind to be on my own, riding a horse in the middle of the nature, and fighting the elements, the bears... Then at nights I could watch the stars, have my drink and my beans in front of a fire, and then fall asleep listening to the river.
Probably I'd miss my machines and the civilization, but it would be nice to do it for a while and see how it feels.
