Take this however you like. It could be dealing with the temptation to eat too much, or handling the temptation to cheat on a test, and everything else.

Basically, how do you handle your temptation? Do you give in easily, or are you resilient? Or, perhaps what you are being tempted with, determines how easily or defiant you become?

Have you gotten better about temptation, in general?

Depends on what it is and the consequences of giving in.

I do what I want, and don't do what I don't want to.

So the answer is, I don't get tempted? Or something.

For me, it really depends on the situation.. I might be resilient on certain things but give in easily to others.

I used to just give in really easily, my willpower is pretty awful. Though I'm learning about behaviour management in uni and that's actually helped me be less impulsive by thinking about the consequences and whether it's worth giving in if it means creating another setback (it usually isn't)

I don't. I generally just succumb to it. Unless I'm tempted to do something really unsafe; I don't do that.

It's so odd, I've never really thought about it. I don't think I have temptations very often if ever come to think of it.

Unless we're talking about buying a new pet or sugar.

    Cakes and cookies always win.

Sexually when someone try to tempt me it always back fire and I hate the guy.

I think I am doing a good way resisting nicotine as I don't smoke since March and counting.

I'm pretty resilient, but I can sometimes have an addictive personality to "lesser evils". It's weird how I can resist hunger, have buyer's remorse before even buying, and yet sometimes I'll splurge.

I keep some thoughts and a special mindset reserved for defying temptation.

Love that quote! Of course, it doesn't end there, to quote William Blake from his Proverbs of Hell:

Depends what sort of temptation it is. With food I have dreadful self control. In my defense I have spent most of my life with people including doctors telling me: 'you're too thin, you need to eat more.' etc which gave me a bit of a free pass. I'm trying to be more careful with foods that are high salt after I had a kidney stone but I don't actually know if I should be doing that because I never found out what type of stone it was. Likewise I need to avoid spicy foods due to my digestive problems but sometimes I'm tempted to push it, like oh this only has a bit of spice, I'll be ok! Then 15 minutes later I'm lying on my stomach groaning.

With other temptations like certain less desirable behaviours, well it varies. Nowadays my mobility problems keep my thrill seeking in check, so I'm less likely to do something daftly impulsive like when I was a teenager. That said however I still have my moments. What's funny actually is that occasionally people now PRAISE me for taking the odd risk despite my disabilities, or encourage me as if they think I'm just overly cautious! Presumably because from their perspective if something was easy and without likely consequences for them they don't realise it can be far more dangerous for someone with health problems.
There are certain other things, like when I'm annoyed or stressed the temptations to use people or to treat them badly, especially if they're really pushing my buttons. But I've been resisting those urges since I was very young for various personal reasons. I really don't want to fail and become like that, which is a strong motivator. I've been generally successful with some notable slip-ups along the way. I'm getting better at knowing when to remove myself from a situation before it gets to a certain point, so I can have a chance to calm down and become more principled again.
