I would gladly come out Oct. 11 if I hadn't already planned months in advance to do it on Halloween. That day just has more significance for me, so sorry, but...I'm going to have to sit this one out. I don't want to come out to any friends that day either, I want my mom to be the first one to know for sure.

I've decided that I'm going to finally quit putting it off. If all goes as planned, I should be out to two more people tomorrow. Of course, I've said that before and nothing ever came of it.

I'm not sure if there is anybody I will come out to on the 11th....I should come out to Fallon....I feel bad about not telling her when I already know that she would be the most supportive person you could ask for....

hmm.... maybe I should tell my grandma. Haha just kidding she would kill me. On the brightside my dad is definitely accepting me more and more each day and I now think he isn't going to go back to not accepting me. Yay!

I definitely have my parents on my agenda (lol the homosexual agenda), but I think October 11th is too close to handle =/

However, I remember last year contemplating telling my older sister. I've come really far in the last year, so maybe I'll tell her this year :]
She's bisexual, has dated a girl before, mostly gay friends, really liberal, so I shouldn't be worried.

I would except that I'm going to be out of school the tenth (the closest i could get in school) so it won't really work in school. but, maybe i'll use it in some other areas of my life

A lot of the people in my neighborhood are really conservative republicans.
I think i'm going to put a sign in my yard that day thats pink and says;

"Hi. I'm gay."

Last year, I wore my "Nobody knows I'm gay" badge around school. A few people saw it, including teachers, and I got quite a few approving nods

Maybe this year I'll wear my "Dip me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbians" badge...

Not to be somewhat discouraging to everyone else. Last year I planned to come out to my parents on National Coming Out Day. I planned it for months and the day came and I chickened out! Fortunately, a week or two later I went to a dinner to support a local GLBT organization with a friend and my mom being nosey concerned about my well-being asked where I was. I told her the truth and then the inevitable question: "Are you gay?" I said "yes." Being asked was so much easier than trying to work it into a conversation
