Do you hate when someone says "Thats so gay" example: "that new game is so gay". It bothers me a little.

Yes, if it's meant in a derogatory manner.

It bothers me if it is said in a mean or cruel way.

    Nope.

My nephew was getting ready for a party and refused to wear a belt with his trousers because "belts are gay"!
Well, I own three belts and not one of them has ever made a pass at me.

Also the word "queer" doesn't offend me either.

It doesn't, i myself actually do it quite often. It's like... It all comes down to what the person saying it is trying to achieve by saying it. At the end of the day, it's just a word...

It didn't used to bother me but now it irritates me. I just think a young kid who hears that can quite easily perceive the word "gay" means "bad", and that could be damaging. Usually straight people who say it aren't homophobic and just need to put a bit more thought into what they're saying.

It really depends on who is saying it, and what they mean.

For instance, "this stupid computer is being gay; it won't work," bothers me, especially when said by someone I am not close to or is homophobic. But, "this pair of blue oxfords is so gay; I don't want to wear them," doesn't bother me so much if the person means "camp" or "stereotypically gay". But if they mean the shoes just look dumb, then it's offensive.

    I agree wholeheartedly.

But yes, it's extremely annoying to me. I'll usually speak up if someone near me says it.

    I do not like.
Whenever someone in my friendship group says it, I give them "the look" and they start fumbling over excuses/apologies.
    I'm quite scary, it seems.

I also hate it when it's used as an insult or with a negative connotation.

Not really--even I have said it sometimes. It can be a little annoying, but what's entertaining is the way my straight friends react to it. "This is so gay...oh, sorry Everett!"

I'm just like "meh", but I think it's cool that they respect me enough to consider that it might be insulting.

If its in a mean way yes, if its in a teasing nice way, like I do with my gay friend, then its fine.
