From a cursory glance, it appears to be a bastion of idiocy, immaturity and paranoia. I suppose everybody needs someplace on the net where they feel at home.
I don't know much about it. I know that 4chan is pretty much the septic tank of the internet, but not sure about 8chan. Looks like it became a refuge for GamerGate posts after they were banned from 4chan. I thought 4chan was supposed to be pretty free, so I don't blame another site for trying to be even freer.
I like the concept, but it derails pretty quickly after the first few boards. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't find too many bait/trolling threads, but then I saw some very...questionable boards and subsequently deleted my internet history. In essence, the lower echelons of 8chan resemble a combination of /b/ and seedy sub-reddits. The thing with the "SJW 4chan mods" never happened; moot was just trying to curb "JOIN 8CHAN" shit-posting. 4chan is as green-texty as ever.
Yeah and some people here say women are making up or fabricating things when they say some men can be misogynistic or being just plan angry .:dry:
