I realized the reason I was so depressed over losing my dog wasn't precisely the dog, but the fact I didn't have a dog of my own. So, I bought a Mini Doxie today (all my own money) that is absolutely adorable and I love her to death. I named her Hayley after Hayley Williams of Paramore (yes, she looks like a Hayley, too), and she's already responding to it. I snuck out of my room (she's sleeping in my bed) to post this. And she hasn't barked since the moment I saw her. She is very mellow (until you play with her, then she is rambunctious). I'll be posting pics soon. I miss you guys! Sam

She kept me up all night last night. She hates leaving my side. And she doesn't look LIKE Hayley, she looks like A Hayley. It's hard to take pics when she freaks out when you walk away from her....

The best pressie you can give Haley is to take her to dog training classes. This will help give her disciplin and confidence in herself so that she doesn't freak out when you leave her. You are obviously still at school so she needs to learn to be a little bit selfreliant and not worry when you are not around. I am sure that you will both love it... one man and his dog and all that.
