Do you do or say awkward things in conversations? Personally, I think I can be pretty awkward. The thing is, I'm not shy-awkward. I actually consider myself pretty charismatic. I'm usually the one to start or carry on conversations, and I do everything I can to make others laugh (which they do). The downside? I think I have a habit of sometimes oversharing, or just saying bizarre things. I've been called thinks like "dork" or "idiot" before... but I think it was in a nice way? When I get too comfortable, my filter goes down. I have a pretty raunchy, political sense of humor, so I worry about crossing the line some times. I also try to fill empty silences a lot - I'm a good listener, but I also worry I occasionally talk too much.

Not sure if other people would think of me as awkward (I sure hope not). So what about you? Do you consider yourself awkward?

Yes. Yes, I think I might be awkward. The opposite of your kind of awkward. I find it hard to start conversations or carry on conversations that people try to start with me.

Yes I feel awkward sometimes because I can't start the convo and I only talk to someone who I think comfort to talk with. My good manner is poor I might admit.

So to clarify: You start chatting to people, you make them laugh, you say random things, listen to what they have to say and sometimes have a lot to say back. I hate to say it but you sound like... an interesting person to have a conversation with! :icon_bigg

As for myself, it took me a long time to learn to overcome insecurities and make conversation with people I didn't know. Now I'm a lot more confident and less awkward.

Welp, I find awkwardness pretty humorous most of the times, a little laugh along the line would usually make it better (I think). Personally, I'm extremely awkward myself, though, my friends think it's lovable or hilarious even, so everything works out somehow.

 I am the queen of the overshare. And my boundaries are sometimes non-existant.

So yes, I feel awkward in that same way.

It depends: how much time did I spend on EC last night, and how much time did I spend reading Wicked Fanfiction last night. Did I mention that I try to find the perfect spot on my pillow?
