Obviously don't post anything personal or identifying here. Just thought that surely I'm not the only Starbucks partner on EC! Let's start with how long you've worked for Starbucks. I just crossed my six months anniversary and in that time I've been promoted from Barista to Shift Supervisor.
I'm not a partner but I have recently discovered the ICED CARAMEL MACCIATO! And wow! It's strong and delicious haha I will not drink coffee that is not from Starbucks
Riiiight! I mean who doesn't love Starbucks! Like, a world without Starbucks is a world I don't want to live in haha
We've had at least two that I know of. Don't think I've seen either of them around for quite a while. But there are probably more, the whole "most male Starbucks employees are gay" thing
Well...I'm bisexual and my manager and at least one of our baristas are gay. So there may be some truth to that
I'm not helping this stereotype having a gay friend and he works at Starbucks, and he knows a gay guy who works in another store. I don't work at Starbucks but I absolutely love their coffee.
I always thought they guys who worked there looked either gay or hipster or both :lol:. I also remember when I had one of those dating apps (anonymous profile, just to see who else was gay :lol) and I went to Target and ordered coffee at the Starbucks. Later, I check the app and that barista was on that app :lol:. Thankfully, I never had a pic on it.
Well I love working for Starbucks! I think they're a great company and they've given me some incredible benefits and yes, you should definitely apply at Starbucks!
I worked for Starbucks for about 5 or six years back when they still had the old style espresso machines and no drive through. About half of the guys that worked at the same location as me were not gay. This makes me crave a half caf double short ristretto extra foamy two raw sugar latte macchiato with some of the little seashell shaped cookies to dip.
The good ol' days, huh? I wish we still had the manual espresso machines because that's something I want to learn. But then again when I'm on bar and I have 10-15 drinks to make I'm pretty glad I just have to push a button...
I like Starbuck's too, and I know that one of the locations near my campus has a gay barista (he's in my LGBT alliance, that's how I know ).
I applied to Starbucks twice before I started doing freelance work, does that count? I am, however, a Gold member and I probably hit a Starbucks anywhere from 1-3 times a week.
