I hate my true voice I sound extremely effeminate and sometimes get mistaken for women on the phone sometimes. I've gotten pretty good at "butching" it up but it still sometimes shines through. I saw this article about it.

It doesn't match who I am, of course, but I don't hate it. I wouldn't mind having a more appropriate voice, but, hey, the voice I do have, isn't the absolute worst. So, I'll consider that a semi-blessing.

I like mine, it is nice and friendly and soothing but i can also do a wide range of voices such as intimidating and it works. I just wish i could sing better.

It's horrible to hear my voice played back to me, so monotone, so cold :frowning2: guess there's more important things to worry about though ha

I don't really like hearing my voice back on recordings, it don't mind listening to my voice as I speak.. I actually prefer my voice when it sounds a little gravely like when I have a cold.. I think it steams from loving listening to Eliza Dushku's voice and also Pauley Parette from NCIS

I wish my voice would be more masculine. Eh, it's okay in small doses! It's soft and often full of whatever emotion(s) I'm feeling. But how can I hate my voice after I was told it sounds similar to Dexter? Not Dexter the serial killer though. It cracked me up so much and made me feel better.

No, not really. Even though I do dislike the fact that my voice can't reach high pitched singing notes without becoming strained or croaky but that's probably just down to me messing up my vocal cords.

I don't hate my voice range or anything like that. =) My English accent is odd but I've been told that it's not that bad. =)

It could be better, but I have no problems with it.

One thing that surprises many foreigners is that my voice is slightly more similar to English RP speakers than the stereotypical Australian. It comes across well with some, but has more negative results with others.

I hate my normal speaking voice but due to being a bit of an actor, I am white but my best accent impressions are of Indian, Indigenous Aussie, Jamaican and Black American. I also can make myself sound like Gollum from LOTR, The Emperor from Star Wars, The Joker from the current batman(probably can sound the most like him due to Heath Ledger actually being Aussie). So I like that fact. I can also sing, can't reach high pitches but I have a good singing voice. So yeah, I am also monotone when I normally speak and I do sound cold and I can do an impressive evil laugh. I can also pretend to be a woman with that woman like whateva, you gonna go down to the mall with us. I rarely use that voice anyway. Only if I am doing a comedy as a woman.

I love my voice. People have told me it's soft and nice to listen to, especially if I'm reading a story or something. Not sure about singing, though xD

When someone records me and I hear what I really sound like, then I hate it xD

    I'm rather indifferent towards it.
