    It's very simple

Would you rather have: a 100$ Doughnut or 100 doughnuts for 1$?

If I understand this question right, I'd rather have the $100 dollar donut. Why carry 100 individual ones?.

Of course, I am using donuts as a store of value in this case.

I would rather have 100 doughnuts for $1 as I can then share with family and friends as well.

Drop the $1 on the 100 donuts, turn around, and sell the 100 donuts for $2 a piece. Drop $100, from my previous profit, on the $100 donut, eat that for myself, and walk away with $100 profit.

If need be, just repeat everything before the $100 donut, as many times as you want, to generate more profit.

    Sorry, old habits. LOL!

100 donuts, certainly. A $100 seems overpriced and pointless, whereas I could share the 100.

It appears we have a winner XD. That is, assuming the doughnut is available for reselling.

For personal consumption, I'd rather have 100 $1 ones. Dunkin's are already that price and they are quite good if you get them fresh. I'd just have to buy them one at a time rather than all at once so they don't go stale.

I don't really like doughnuts that much, so I go for 100 for only 1$. Then I can share them with people who actually appreciate them. :icon_bigg

I'm on a diet, so I'd go for the 100 dollar donut. If I ate 100 donuts I'd get even heavier.

Hmm... The question is why someone is willing to sell 100 doughnuts for 1 dollar? Would I really want to eat them?

If it were a vegan doughnut, made with top-notch ingredients, with the perfect texture, flavour, look and frosting, then I'd rather have the $100 donut.

100 $1 donuts, I don't know if you realize this but a $1 donut is one expensive donut! That's gotta be a good quality donut for that price, $100 donut probably wouldn't actually be worth $100 dollars and I'd ultimately feel cheated by it. I coulda spent that money better, buying some already expensive $1 donuts. (Seriously, that's like double the price I buy donuts for at my local donut shop or grocery store.) Plus I could use 100 donuts on friends and family and spread the love, where as one miserly little $100 donut is a cheap thrill at best. Wasting time and money on some fleeting taste only I'd get to enjoy for the briefest of moments. Gimme my already over priced $1 donuts over that any day!

I'd go with the 100 donuts. If I knew what a $100 dollar donut tasted like it might ruin all other donuts for all time. I can't just be dropping $100 on a donut all the time, so I'd rather not know what I'm missing.

Well, I couldn't eat 100 doughnuts but I could give them out to people? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Agreed. I almost went with the $100 option simply because I'd be too tempted to eat as many of the $1 variety as I could manage, but this is better. I know I'm always thrilled when someone brings in donuts at work so might as well spread the wealth.
