I am completely in favour of universal health care - I know the NHS over here sometimes has its problems (and you do sometimes get stories scarily similar to the one above), but I wouldn't exchange it for the world. I cannot understand how a western country like America can't have a universal healthcare system! I mean, the problems we get in the UK I feel are ones where you need to get the kinks out of the system - not get rid of the system. Barely anything makes my blood boil more than people not getting the healthcare they need because they don't have the money! It's also interesting how this couple showed the greatest love for each other by getting divorced. |
