If I do, it's normally pertaining to my race. Apparently, all black peopole love KFC (I wouldn't say I love it) and Watermelons (they make me feel light headed, I don't understand where this comes from?) And all the girls used to want me because all black boys are well endowed in the penis department. Were you every stereotyped when you were younger?

Watermelons is actually a stereotype of African-Americans, so I'm kind of sad these racist ideas have reached the UK. Yes, I was stereotyped since I was a child of immigrants in a largely white school system. But, when I was younger, most of my friends didn't care about my race, and actually I never met any overt racists except this one white guy in middle school (a smooth-talking jerk who tried to play off his racism as just harmless jokes).

When I say I don't and never had , I get the but your black . Oh yeah and let's not forget watermelon I hate watermelon people think that's strange because oh yeah I'm black .
I have not gotten any lgbt stereotypes .

Only as part of back-and-forth banter among friends, not usually maliciously or by people I don't know well.

No, because it is quite obvious that I break the stereotypes of every label people can put on me.

    Not really.

The occupation one is always funny, though.

I went into a business I go to monthly to pay with my c.c. instead of paying by check. We got to talking about work. The lady there had assumed I was a nurse. She clarifies it with "a male nurse." That is redundant. It's obvious I'm male. That was a first! I often get pegged for some type of business occupation.

When I asked her why she thought that, she said, "you don't seem analytical." This is one bright bulb, I tell you!?! She said, "you seem to have a compassionate heart." Sometimes I do, but not always.

I wasn't mad and I didn't read anything into it, unlike the dental hygienist who asked me "Are you going to Key Weeeesssssttttt?" when I told her I was going to Florida. As I walked away, I realized it was probably the jeans, the long-sleeved waffle t-shirt, and the clogs/sliders. That's what it was!

Well there's the on going you're smart because you're Asian. It's very frustrating because my race takes the credit for my hard work haha. Also, that bc I'm Asian I'm innocent and a goody goody (Lol I wish). That's normally it.

As a South African I have gotten heavy stereotypes thrown at me.

    (Tourists and Internet Convos)
    "Are you white?"
"Where do you keep your lion?"
    "So you have slaves right?"
    "Where did you immigrate from?"

Just some of the lesser ones

My identity is questioned because of stereotypes:
"You're half Asian, shouldn't you be good at math?"
"If you're a lesbian, why do you dress so girly?"

    O_O
Last time I checked, Asian means you're ethnicity is linked to the continent of Asia and that the definition of "lesbian" is a female attracted to females, not a person who doesn't wear dresses...

Exhibit A: My best friend is Indian and I'm Jewish, and we were trying to make a trade in fantasy football. He sends me a terrible offer, and I tell him to lay off the spicy curry because it's going to his head if he thinks that's a good deal. He rejects my counteroffer and tells me to lay off the Manischewitz (shitty kosher wine) if I think my offer was good.

    Stuff like that

Well I'd say I'm not very stereotypical.

Especially when I'm a transgender white female who listens to rap/hip hop and is a black belt cosplaying science teacher...

Put me in a box and I won't fit.

I sometimes get stereotyped by my friends, but that are only harmless stereotypes.

I really don't get the stereotype of "black people love fried chicken", because apart from vegetarians and vegans, who the fuck doesn't love fried chicken?!

All the time. Being from Ireland, there are a million different stereotypes that people attribute to me. I recently had to share a hostel dorm room with a group of Americans, and based on what they were telling me about their perceptions of Irish people, I'm supposed to be a ginger, under-educated, jig-dancing, Guinness-swilling leprechaun named Patrick.
