    How can you tell if someone is flirting with you for an ego boost or if they're actually interested?? P.S I'm friends with the person in question

    I ask them about why they truly like me and I try to determine if they're telling the truth. I am more towards being more skeptical, so if someone's really interested in me, they better show it. I want people to like me for me.
