I've heard many guys think that if they look at someone else's penis, they'll turn gay LOL

Someone thought if they watched while I made a same-sex couple's family on Sims they'd turn gay. Not even if they did it. Just if they watched.

Before, though, my dad once mentioned that masturbating causes guys to lose their hair. For as smart as he was (most of the time), this was downright idiotic. It's either in your DNA, or it isn't. It wasn't an admonishment because I hadn't been caught masturbating. He just verbalized a lot of things that crossed his mind. As for what you're saying, stocking, this continues to be a subject of debate. My thought is that rejection and/or trauma can awaken it ONLY if a person was already temperamentally predisposed to homosexuality or bisexuality. We've all seen so many men and women who get kicked in the face repeatedly by the opposite sex and keep going back for more.

I've seen some progress in a person. I know a very religious lady who was very down on LGBT folks. She said "It's a choice. They want to be gay." She has eased off. Now she says, "Well, it's something that happened along the way that probably didn't go right. I guess love the one you're with is better than nothing." At least her tone hasn't been as condemning as it has been in the past, so that's what I mean by progress.

 

I think your right that those people have always been that way gay or bi before their break up .
I'm wondering here if she met a gay person that changed her mind or if she found a lover ?

 

I was once told by my (ex) friend that watching "those girls kiss" is what was turning me gay. I said, "How is that? When a saw you and your boyfriend kiss, it didn't turn me straight.."

 

She's married and more in love with her husband than he is with her. I think this came about from seeing her kids go off to college and high school and learning that there all kinds of people out there, and that she might have actually met some of these folks her kids knew, who put a face and a personality onto what was once just a label for her and something her church taught her.

Having gay sex will make you gay. I kid you not, my biodad actually all but blatantly said this. And of course, rape will both cause and cure lesbianism, that's a common thing.

The one I remember as a kid was watching a movie with mom, and there was a sexy stripper scene or something like that, and she said, "okay you can watch this part, but don't turn gay". Well, now I'm gay... :lol:

A huge one how does this make sense to people .

 

They used to say that is you nurse your baby boys past 6 months, it will turn them gay because they will grow to hate the breast. You would think that they would see the breast as nurturing and desirable the longer you do it.....Well, case in point, my 18 year old son is straighter than a pin but he nursed for 4 yrs. So there ya go.
