Default Sex difference in shoulders?

I have a random question. Do you know if there is any physical difference in men and women's shoulder/neck areas? I mean, any tangible difference? Because I can't pinpoint exactly what it is, but whenever I look at men and women's shoulders they just seem qualititively different. Am I imagining this?

I think men have wider shoulders, but I think it can also come from muscle mass...
... because some chic water polo players' shoulders look like mens'.

idk.

Women tend to have a smaller frame, but
I don't think it makes that much of a difference.

I had to do this whole science lab in physics about the purpose of the difference between a man and a woman's shoulders. A man has broader shoulders because his center of gravity is located there, while a woman's shoulders are relatively smaller because their center of gravity is in their hips. This also explains why women have to worry more about their hip sizes than men do. Also, a man can't wear high-heels properly because of the distance between the floor and his shoulders, while the distance from a woman's hips to the floor is a lot smaller.

Damn, its 11:30 and I'm still in school mode.....

If you're looking for physical attributes, then i guess men's are bigger than women's cause of the muscle mass.

Thanks, Bastan92, that's interesting. That would explain the broad-lookingnes I have noticed in men's shoulders. Thankees!
