Silly question, I know. But, I stumbled upon:

    This.

Basically, there is an all-gay nation. It's called the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands, and it's near Australia.

This part, in particular, interested me:

I suppose, the topic of queer nationalism can be discussed, as that is how I stumbled upon this again. I was more or less, wanting to focus on the all-gay nation aspect, though.

So, would you live in an all-gay nation?

Umm, no tbh, because I'd worry about them being hateful toward heteros. Plus, almost all my friends are heteros, and I love them dearly.. I'd miss them. :frowning2:

    Same.

I was also wondering, what about the bisexuals? Are we 'enemies of the state'?

No, because multisexuals and straight people would be the underclasses.

I've been more than disappointed at the lack of solidarity some gay and lesbian people display, and I have no confidence whatsoever that they would run a more just or compassionate legal regime than what currently exists.

Very interesting question.. I don't think I could because it would be living away from family and friends and they would not be allowed to visit me in my own country and also being that I am pansexual.. I don't know if I would even be welcome myself.

I'd much rather stay where I am. I'd actually feel more comfortable in a place where 95% of the people are straight.

I don't think I'd be welcomed there, ha. I guess it might be interesting but I don't think discriminating against any group is right. Almost my whole family is hetero so I don't think I could leave them behind like that.

Isn't that what all the homophobes want.....remember the pastor who wanted to drop food in a electrified fence area with the "gays and lesbians" in it so they would die out. It's giving them what they want. Except for the dieing out part

But still might be kind of cool.

Also, queer nationalism is still nationalism.

No. There wouldnt be as great a level of diversity as there is now. i want some more people who are different, because differences bring out the true colors of a person. and i may not be allowed there myself. and id be leaving behind all of my friends and family here, which would make me more sad and depressed than i already am though.

No. That would be a terrible idea. And shouldn't we of all people agree that excluding people based on their sexuality is wrong?

Also, all-gay nation would be a completely shitty place for gay and lesbian binary trans people to live. Completely shitty.

I'd give it a shot, I think it could be fun

Of course most of my friends are straight, so realistically I wouldn't really want to, but I'd at least like to try it.

No. Not only am I not gay, but I love to immerse myself in diverse environments. I wouldn't belong there.

I would have absolutely no interest in it. I wouldn't trust segregation ever, even self-imposed.

And Pret Allez already sufficiently dealt with other stuff that would be worrying.

No. Segregation sucks. I'm not even gay or lesbian; where does that put me?
Furthermore, being transsexual is suffering isn't being homosexual. I have no interest in living there.

Would anybody be opposed to a coup, then, yes?

    Maybe, rename it ECtopia?
