Mine was for a couple of reasons.
    1) I like The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe
    2) In year 9, I used to shout "For Narnia" before leaving for lessons. (because I felt like I was going to war. I'm weird like that)
3)Because I'm in the closet... Hehehehehe *giggles like a five year old at terrible joke*

    So what about you guys?

I read we couldn't have the same username we have in other forums or sites so I choose something I hadn't used before. My pediatrician used to call me blossom when I was younger and 85 is my year of birth.

I really like Raven as a name. It's both "cool" and "pretty" at the same time, lol. And I am a very quiet person.

You beat me to this by the way, lol. I thought about asking this.

A lot of the usernames I tried were already taken, so I chose an an acronym. It's something that is personal to and in memory of a former same sex partner.

I love the show Friends, so I used something from it. Phoebe Buffay often uses the alter ego Regina Phalange, and there's also something wrong in one of the "phalanges" on Rachel's plane (planes don't even have "phalanges") in the last episode which delays her flight to Paris. So when I needed some kind of alternative name, I chose Phalange.

Because I've been thinking of getting some dudes together to play some tunes. Wanted to call it The Janitor, or just Janitor, or maybe The Slackers.

Also I'm a dirty dirty boy

I've been surprised over the week or so to learn that a few people on here think my name has something to do with having an MBA, but I don't and it really has no meaning.

When I signed up on EC I wanted to use something different from my usual username but couldn't come up with anything interesting. It's really just a mash-up of sounds loosely based on an inside joke. For the record, I pronounce it "em-bah-nee-ma".

    I know, lame. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Not as lame as most of my usernames on other sites, lol. I used to just throw random letters together until I got something that sounds kinds cool.

    Partly intentional, partly google.

Alex is a unisex name that I've liked, and it is short and simple like my given name. Needed something to add onto the end of that, so I went googling. "Alex the" returns hits on Alex the grey parrot.

Yes, a parrot gave me the inspiration.

Supremely dissapointed that it wasn't Gandalf.

Like amalgamation. Doesn't sound like a word, but it means something along the lines of 'a pile of crap all thrown together'

Haha, I have to admit that never once crossed my mind. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

That's pretty much what I did. I just combined syllables together until I came up with something that I thought looked kind of cool and that I would actually remember.

    Yep, perfect.

I guess. But you said they were some inside joke? At least there is some direction or intent there. More then just...completely random letters. Lol.

But I suppose it is still pretty much the same thing.
