    I was listening that certain song and that question popped into my head. I am not only asking about potential partners but in general.

    If a person, male or female;
    - loves animals, especially cats
    - doesn't biased towards LGBT society
    - respectful to others religion/beliefs
    - smart
    - (women only) know how to make themselves look beautiful
    - loves comics
    - blonde (males only and only for potential partners)

    - good manners
    - honesty
    - same taste in music (I say this because most of the stuff I listen, only a few know or like...)
    - deep blue eyes (I know that physical trait prefferences are very superficial but I idolize this trait... it makes me feel things I can't explain. okay, I sound like a total weirdo, I'll shut up now.) :eusa_doh:

    Someone being passionate/having lots of knowledge about a cause (depending on the cause) impresses me.
    Empathy, loyalty and being comfortable about oneself impresses me. Also, someone being able to see things from a different perspective.

    Some people
    kindness to children/animals/weaker things, especially if the person would not appear to be so kind (like a biker or some tough guy with a soft heart). People who have a clever wit or unique insights. Someone who is decisive but in a good way (not rash). Someone who is humble about their beauty, especially if they have a nice smile. A person who's passionate about whatever they do and can talk at length about it.

    Being honest. Nice, friendly, no arguments - I aint having that in my life. A sense of humour, an ability to laugh at themselves. Cant stand cocky guys who think they're something amazing.

    Impress? Well, I guess if they both look good and are intelligent and kind, that'd be impressive. Also, if they could eat a banana in just one bite like me. Perhaps if they can play any instrument on par with some of the artists I listen to. Iduno, lots of things impress me.

    People, impress me... but, very rarely.

    Being able to read people, forces me to look for that "unique" factor in each and every one. When i don't find it, i immediately lose interest in the person.

    Interests and opinions on the other hand, go towards strengthening the bond that i might want to form with a person that i find unique.

    This is... in general. As for a "potential partner", then the "rules" don't apply. I just follow my heart, which, sort of follows these pre-set rules of mine, but not always.

    It's very superficial to generalize people like that, i find your post somewhat offensive.

    I'm impressed by people who really are "that" polite and nice all the time. There's a guy I work with who really is the nicest person I've ever met; not in a creepy way, he just is polite and nice, hard-working, and never even vents about crappy people. I'm impressed with that level of restraint and poise.
