The only thing is -- only our Aussie friends will have access to Kangaroos unless they started making farms of them across the world like they do other livestock.

I don't think it's financially feasible for me to switch to kangaroo, so I'll pass, for now. Maybe once I'm done with college. |

XD I can't even imagine eating a kangaroo ![]()

| Cheers! Full Member Gender: Male Orientation: Bisexual Location: DownUnder Posts: 3,899 Join Date: Dec 2004 | A lot of people seem to have this "Nooo - can't eat Skippy" thought in their minds. I'm not a big red meat eater - I'll occasionally have a steak if I eat out - but at home I mainly eat vegetarian - and the only red meat I use at home IS kangaroo. It is very healthy, has a good flavour (a little stronger than beef) and is INCREDIBLY lean. I buy the mince and use it for bolognaise etc - and there is so little fat in it (97% fat free) I actually have to add olive oil to be able to cook it. I also cook Kangaroo fiilet occasionally - delicious. |
