Default Second Presidential Debate

I just wanted to inform everyone that the second presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain is scheduled for tonight (Tuesday).

Same time as usual? I look forward to it. I just hope it covers more domestic policies than the last presidential debate.

As was said by a wise radio talkie person whom I enjoy listening to (and yet, have no idea what his name is!), this debate is more or less McCain's last chance to get back on the horse. Obama's taken the lead, and just like in any kind of sports game, if you allow the opponent to gain an advantage, you have to get back on top of things immediately, or they'll just keep on going.

He needs to do better than he did in the first debate. Most people considered the first debate to be a draw. If the same can be said for this one, or if Obama ends up "winning," then the final debate will be little more than a formality. McCain has to "win" this debate. It is crucial to his success in this election that he does.

Please do tune in, people! Even if you won't be able to watch it live, watch or listen to a recording!

I have to work 7-9, but there's a TV. I'm not sure if it works. If not, maybe I can catch the last 30 minutes or so.

McCain needed to have a big night tonight to give him a boost in the polls.

Nothing of that sort happened.

This election is still Obama's to lose.

i still think obama is going to win. McCain's weakness being the Economy is hurting him in the polls

Well I didn't hear much of anything new in this debate. However, it was pretty funny when the candidates were blocking the teleprompter and Tom didn't know what he was supposed to be saying.
