Some people seem to have the Christmas decorations up already here.

If you celebrate Christmas, when do the decorations go up in your home? We tend to leave it until around December 15th.

At my parents' house, where I go for the Christmas holiday, the Christmas tree never comes down. It's an artificial tree, so it never rots, and it's been in the living room for about a decade at this point. It may seem weird, but I think it kinda gives the house a cheerful vibe all year 'round by symbolizing that the "spirit of Christmas" shouldn't fade with the holiday season.

My family usually waits till the first of December, however my mum has a Christmas lunch she has with her work friends at our house this year and so our tree is up already this year with the help of my little niece as well. I think she was most excited out of anyone and that is the important thing, to make her feel included and important cause it's all about her this year. My parents are going to look at a Christmas lights shop to buy some lights and decorations cause we usually decorate the outside of the house as well if we can.

We have a tree but it's still lying on its side in the loft. It won't come out until the first weekend of December. That's a family tradition that's been set in stone since the earliest of days.

We don't really decorate for Christmas nowadays.

When I was little, it tended to be in very early December. Now, if we have any, they tend to be put up the week of Christmas, and only a handful at most.

Early December usually. We didn't bother with decorations or even a tree last year though. I guess we have lost the festive spirit, as Christmas used to a big deal in our household.

Early December usually, sometimes late November as long as it's after Thanksgiving.

They are already up. And let me tell you, I'm actually late by my friends standards. A friend of mine has them up since late October. Madness.

Usually we always set our christmas decorations up on Halloween day. Since most people my age don't go out anymore and we live in an apt that no one goes trick or treating at, we came up with setting up for christmas on this day.

We literally don't put the tree up until about a week before Christmas. The Christmas spirit takes a while to kick in.

Now... to enjoy them for as long as possible because they come down the day after Christmas no ifs ands or buts!

My partner and I sort of start the decorating shortly after Thanksgiving and we usually get the tree during the first week of December. Growing up we always got the tree on December 8th--it was how we celebrated my late mother's birthday.

Last year, I put them up the day before Thanksgiving. It was the one year we didn't host a Thanksgiving dinner (we are usually the hosts for a big dinner). Otherwise, I usually put them up on Black Friday.
