What is your favourite story of LGBTQ people being accepted in your community/school/work place? I thought that a more positive thread would be a cute idea on here, share the love. ❤ I have a bunch of these sweet stories, but today, at the local boxing ring, a guy asked out one of the ladies to the Christmas party, but she said that she was going to be in Thailand. ~He said "Oh... For your... surgery?" ~She said "Yup, finally getting it off!" then imitated to her groin (and made a cutting movement, along with the slashing side effect, lol). ~Another guy slapped her bum and said that she was still "sexy as hell". Everyone was laughing, *and* they rearranged the date for when she came back. : P
My Girlfriend just assumed I was Bisexual, So when I came out to her she told me "It would suck if you were straight".
My friend in school actually lost a bet when I came out. She had been telling everyone I was straight (she didn't know otherwise at the time) when they asked her, and she had said that "the day was gay, she'd wear a pink tutu." She hates pink, so she was really stepping out on a limb here. So over the summer, I came out to her. She wore all of the pink clothing she owned to school when it started back up again. Totally cool with it.
