Am I the only one who finds Australian guys SUPER hot? Their voice, accent, gorgeous faces, etc.

I've never been down under, but I really want to! All the ones in North America seem to be REALLY hot!

Anyone else in agreement with me on this?

And I grow weak at the knees when I hear my own voice

  6. Uh, my Sydney cousins think the Australian accent can make people sound like bogans. I don't think they're judging themselves since they have relatively mild accents.

I have a rather unhealthy obsession with Australian guys. Everything about them is just... perfect!

Tend to not generalize people like that.

People can be equally unique, regardless of their descent.

That being said... omg the accents, kewl!! *dies*

I agree completely. But I can only talk with what limited exposure to Australians I've had.

I absolutely agree with you confuseduser99

    They are just.... so HOT!
I love their accents, how amazing they all look, everything about them <3
Of course, that's not why I picked my boyfriend XD
I picked him because he was amazing just in general... the fact that he's from Aus had nothing to do with it, but it's such an amazing bonus

From a tourist point of view Australia has all the sexy people. Bronzed skin and bleached hair now that is hot on a guy. Oh yeah, but the women are pretty much the same as well, so even if you're gay or straight, Australia is a country of alright women and really sexy looking men.

Same here and this is coming from an Aussie guy. Except for the bit about the accent cause I don't hear it so much, but that's cause I'm aussie again.

I capture myself in the mirror every day and walk around in my bare chest all day not even bothering to put a shirt on.

I think the Australia you guys are imagining isn't the one I live in.

I find blonde and bronze skinned guys hot and Australia has a lot of them, so therefore I could actually go broad and say I really find the beach stereotype in looks for guys(California, Australia, Hawaii, not sure about any others really) very hot.

Things that are rare are always more attractive.
Do you think that maybe you see halos above Aussie heads because there's so few of them?

If you came to Australia, you'd be hearing the accent and seeing the people every day and they would lose their REALLY hot-ness after a while.
Instead of loving their accents, you would start to miss talking to people with similar accents to yours.
If you came here, you would be the one with the accent - not them.
    It's hard to explain.

Don't have feelings one way or the other about Australians as a people. Some are hot, some are not, some are just neutral - life most everywhere else on the planet probably.

As far as the accents - When I was in HS, we started a travel club at the urging of our new principle, who had done one when he was in HS. We worked for 2yrs raising money and then spent a month traveling to New Zealand, Australia, and Hawaii (10 days in each place).

During the 10 days we were in NZ, I got really acclimated to their accent which seems (to me) to fall somewhere between the 'classic' British accent and the Australian accent. It basically worked as a transition such that when we landed in Sydney 10 days later - everybody sounded like an American to me - meaning I didn't hear the accent any more, or only heard it very faintly in some people. We actually went to see Crocodile Dundee one night and couldn't hear the accent at all. No idea if we'd started speaking with the accent or if our brains were just filtering out everything heard without impacting our speech.

Based on this, I suspect a move to Australia would let you enjoy the accents for maybe a few weeks - and then they would just sort of disappear from your perceptions.

I think this applies to any country... It's all up to who the person is!

A person can't be shaped by its country in terms of their personality. It's true that maybe they can look or speak in a certain way though
