Why are gay men curious about female genital but don't want to have sex with it?
I don't know if curious is the right word but it seems like it is.

Um, among all the gay men I know, I don't know any that are particularly curious about female genetalia. I know some that are repulsed, but most simply couldn't care less one way or the other.

I don't know any like that either. But either way, being curious about opposite sex genitalia is pretty normal since you don't have it; doesn't always make it sexual though.

Yeah, all the gay men I've ever known have had feeling towards female genitalia ranging from indifference to disgust. Have yet to find one that was "curious" about the subject.

Yeah it doesn't really make me feel much so I dont really care. I mean I could literally just stare at a naked woman and not feel much. Yeah....no.

Yeah, I can't say as I've ever been all that interested in female genitalia either. I don't fear it or hate it or anything - it's just "not for me".

I'm reminded of the time a female friend of mine asked a question about female genitalia, and I gave a response. She said "What the hell would you know about it?" I said, "Hey, I've never been to France, but it's not like I've never seen a map."

The only thing I'm curious about would be the biology/anatomy behind it. I think that's as far as the curiosity goes in gay men, otherwise you're not exactly gay.

That is the most perfect response. Kudos.

Since female genitalia is about as erotic as an elbow to me, none of my curiosity is the least bit sexual.

I don't know, they know about vag more than I do n I'm biologically female. Anatomically speaking.

Maybe they are trans, wanting to transition. That might explain why they want to know what females have.

Um? sex ed is where most of us learn of body parts... I don't think they are interested in it...

Why do you assume that it has to mean 'something more' besides being intellectual?

I mean I'm a cis lesbian and I know everything about how the penis works, I draw dicks all the time and such. Does it mean I'm interested in being sexual with a dick? NO. If you're curious about criminals and how/why they kill people, do you want to go out and commit crimes? Just because something is usually associated with sex doesn't mean there's a sexual interest in learning about it.

It's there, It exists... Do I care anything about it? Does it do anything for me? Nope.

Maybe they want to be doctors or studied hard for sex ed class
In high school I new more about how a penis worked than my own vagina but it wasn't because I was attracted to it , I was curious on how men produced sperm and how the whole making a baby thing worked and how they were born .
I would think the only time I would question if these men were gay is if they enjoyed sleeping with women and claimed to be .

At $196,000 a year, gynecology is definitely a good job.

EDIT: Never mind, there are way higher paying medical jobs than gynecologist.

*cough* *cough* gay ftms *cough* *cough*

You don't necessarily have to have sex with a female to have sex with that sort of anatomy. Just saying. But I can understand someone not finding it appealing.

When I was single, I didn't usually meet gay guys who were curious about vaginas. However, I do admit I met a few who were curious about or had been with pre or non-op trans guys. So maybe that sort of counts?
