I wonder if "butch" guys feel the same thing about transgender women

...It probably depends on how well said woman passes. Ideally, he'd treat her like any other woman, but... if she is percieved as a feminine man, then she will be treated like one.

 

I'm quite "butch" and more than half of my male friends are at least a little bit feminine. A couple of them also do drag.
Though I don't have any trans friends (yet / that i know of), I'm pretty sure I would feel just as comfortable around them.

 

I consider myself somewhat masculine (mostly just a huge nerd) and seemed to have gathered a primarily female/feminine local friend group (a lot of whom are transgender women). All that matters is that I like hanging around someone and we're all respected for who we are.

 

if gay masculine men have no interest in feminine men, i have no idea why they would have ANY interest in a trans-woman.

 

I have no issues with effeminate people, it doesn't matter if they are transgender or gay.

The only issue that annoys me somewhat is when I see a gay camp completely over-acting the whole camp thing, and I mean really playing on it.
