So for christmas I've drawn my other half a portrait of himself, just to inflate his ego even more  Do you think this is a good idea to give it to him? (I'm pretty pleased with the outcome so far) Or is it a bit weird?

Heres the work in progress so far!

Thanks guys! This is the first time since September I've had chance to sit down and draw something properly! I think I'm gonna make it into a card for him

It's a great drawing! You should totally give it to him, I think it's sweet.

Wow, that's really good so it's a great idea if you ask me.

I'm more of a painter personally. :king:

That looks great! I bet he will appreciate the fact that you made this for him rather than buying a gift.

That's quite good! Try to accentuate the contrasts, maybe with a darker lead.

Good job! I think that since it's from you and you personally made it, he'll appreciate it even more

Accentuate the contrasts like resu mentioned, frame it and you're good to go. This will make a fantastic gift.

Thanks everyone. Resu, I listened and accentuated the contrasts and it looks so much better!

Good drawer, but I am not surprised given your field of architecture.

Nice! I'm not a fan of photorealistic pencil drawings, but it looks very nice, you have skill obviously.

Thank you! I'm trying to get away from the pencil although I've not quite got there yet.
