The title says all... It's really unclear to me...I've thought about it few times but couldn't find the boder between them:bang: My friends and I were taling about this and one of them said, looking at yourself in a mirror and doing some poses are "self confidence" but if you smile at yourself in a mirror that is "narcissism". Which was not exactly what I expected. So what are y'all(you all) think?
Well i think of it as thinking "I look good" is self-confidence and "Im the ONLY one who looks good" as narcissism. Just my take on it
I agree with Emperor. It is GOOD to feel good about yourself, as long as you can still appreciate the same in others.
They're kinda two different things: self-confidence is how you feel about yourself. Narcissism is when you focus solely on yourself, not bothering to care what is going on with other people, or what their feelings are. I think you mean more self-confidence vs. ego. And I think the other people here have pegged it: self-confidence is about feeling good about yourself and other people don't really enter into it, whereas ego would be feeling better than others. One is more of an internal feeling and the other is about putting yourself in a hierarchy above others.
Hehe Me and my friend are considered narcasistic people only because we have so much confidence. And i do think more highly of myself than other people sometimes...but i honestly try not to do that But i would say the difference between me and my friend is the border...lol We are both confident but she is the one who will always tell people how they are worse than her (not always in a mean way but still) and i wont do that because i thikn its to rude lol. But ya i tend to cross over that line sometimes
When you are trying to autofillate yourself! (Once again, I was just curios.... Don't ever try it... unless you are felxible:icon_redf )
hehe ya i've tried before lol...not cause i think i can do it better than someone tho lol...cause i was bored
I wish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sadly, I'm too damn stiff to actually reach "it" But it's ok I usually get what I want........... Oh, never mind:icon_redf :icon_redf
