I've noticed most gay guys are often called cute at one stage of their lives

    I have been called a cute guy by many female friends, and you can guess I turn out to be a gay guy. I'm thinking were all of you gay guys called cute at one stage of your lives.

    Why is it also that us gay guys are oftentimes so cute as well, I find a lot of guys here to be cute guys, and that makes me want to cuddle you guys :slight_smile:. (hugs)

    :icon_eek: Wait! Is this actually a thing? I think you might be onto something! I used to be told all the time how cute I was and even get it now from time to time. It makes sense, I guess. We are adorable after all.

    I got called cute, on two occasions...

    - In a gay bar, by a 40+ year old fat guy who was seriously ignorant about body image. I just wanted to get my orange juice and get out of there. And to make matters worse, there were other people around, like... centimeters away (it's was a small bar).
    - Some shady guy, surrounded by his shady friends, at night, at a secluded part of the sea gardens.

    It's funny, because i'm actually not that cute. I blame hormones... I mean, people say all kinds of crap, just so they can get in your pants.

    I don't really recall ever being called 'cute' by anyone(aside from referring to pics of me little), so I can't say I completely relate or get where you are coming from...

    i do that ALL THE TIME in the club. dear god, especially when i'm drinking. if a gay guy that i haven't met joins the conversation, i always have to stop the conversation to point out that he's cute or adorable.

    I've been called "cute" more than any other compliment throughout the years, especially by females, almost never "hot" or "sexy". I guess there's something about being gay that makes one cuter ^_^

    Well, people call me a cute GIRL, though I often tell them not to call me that, they don't understand why... I sincerely wish I could burn whoever calls me it. >.> It just gets so annoying! I mean, I wouldn't even like being called cute if they thought of me as a guy, but a girl TOO??!!

    I got called cute when I was in my teens, then I was called cute and hot for some reason around the age of 24. Now that I am in my 30's I get called good looking and handsome.

    I was "cute", then I was "hot", then I was "handsome," now I think I'm working my way towards "distinguished". I think I'm quite looking forward to "distinguished."

    I have been called hansom but only when I was over 45:thumbsup:.
    I have even got "chatted up" by guys in their 20s when I was in my 50s :eusa_danc

    I was always called "cute" as a kid, seemed to have skipped "hot" and skipped "good looking" and now I am called "distinguished" and "handsome".

    I'd like to declare that everyone in this thread who hasn't been called 'cute' before, is in fact... totally cute. I mean that... some of you have pictures! :icon_wink

    Wow, I hope someone calls me "distinguished" at some point during my lifetime. That's actually an amazing compliment.

    For me I was called cute as a kid and a teenager. I tried to stop girls calling me cute as a teenager because it always made me seem like I was still a little kid, but no one ever said you're hot or sexy, they called me handsome and when I dressed up they called me snazzy.

    It was kind of embarrassing as a teenager being called cute, but I've got past that embarrassment and now I don't care what people call me because I realized cute is actually a way of saying, wow you look really young.
