As a radical feminist, I disagree. I've defined sex and rape elsewhere.

I also think it's important to engage with people's views rather than make assumptions about their views from the label they adopt. That's pretty intellectually lazy.

 

I take offense to the statement the article in the OP makes.

while this argument isn't valid anymore (in the West), it was historically valid at one point, specifically when wives were considered property and chattel as opposed to agents and ends in and of themselves. There are periods in history (and if you really want to you rpobably can argue this argument is valid in certain areas in the world) when PIV was rape.

for example, I don't think anyone would dispute that the "relationship" between Thomas Jefferon and Salley Hemmings was one in which Jefferson raped Hemings because Jefferson owned her. In historical contexts in which wives are owned by their husbands, the same line of reasoning applies.

I think the women who wrote this hate men , and I don't think Penis in vagina sex is rape , some women in fact enjoy .
The only thing I don't like about the whole penis in vagina sex thing is it's considered, to be the only sex you can have or considered to be real sex ;While everything else is not sex that doesn't include a penis in the act that's,and the only thing that bothered me about how society put it on a pedestal .
