Just went apeshit and deleted every single post because I told him to stop making new forums without permission from the other admins and I And then he tried to fucking blame it on me Good god
Do you maintain a backup strategy? If this happened recently, and you have a robust backup plan in place, you could revert to the last backup. I don't know much about the proboards software, but I assume that it, like most others, has an audit trail where you can see what admin/mod did what. That should pretty quickly shut up any claim that you did something if he did it. ... And it sounds like he's not much of a team player. Perhaps you should discuss with the other admins about removing him as an admin.
Do you have access to the database? There's a decent chance those posts are just given a deleted status rather than physically deleted so it may be possible to recover them with a simple SQL script.
holy shit what script ---------- Post added 6th Dec 2014 at 08:25 PM ---------- and uh, how do i get to the database assuming i have access
Oh, sorry, I forgot that ProBoards is a cloud service rather than something you host yourself. I don't think you'll be able to access the database in that case. I'd recommend contacting ProBoards support though and explaining your situation (and the time at which this happened). If everything is soft-deleted as I expect they should be able to recover those posts pretty easily. I don't know if they'll be willing to do so, but worth a try at least.
