    My friend says all lesbians are butch there are no girly ones is that true ?

    I actually think like 99% of all lesbians on EC are girly honestly.

    I feel out of place being the more boyish lesbian here, and even then I'm not butch.

    I feel the same! I don't call myself butch but I'm definitely not girly.

    And this is a silly question. Sexual orientation and personality are not as strictly linked as many people seem to think.

    I don't identify as a lesbian, but I prefer women. I wear makeup and sometimes skirts/dresses, have long hair and all that stuff. I do love my Dr.Martens though. There are days when I throw some more 'masculine' things into the mix. But, you wouldn't look at me and go "yeah, probably lesbian".

    You could watch some lesbian YouTubers, and see that far from everyone fits the stereotype.

    I don't think anyone can assume anything about anyone else, it is a rather bad habit to get yourself into and no I don't think all lesbians are butch, it is an individual and personal thing.

    Guys sometimes like guys.
    That doesn't mean they do or do not look or act in a certain way, just as girls who like girls don't act in a certain way.

    You get butch lesbians, you get girly lesbians, you get girls in between.
    It's just a silly stereotype.
