Maybe anime/manga, but instead of the traditional tailored look it has a sketched kind of feel to it.

Anime.. but the drawing style looks like it's either online art or pastel drawing.

Yeah I will echo it is japanese visual style. Instead of traditional pencil/ink manga style it is done like a painting.

No matter what that child is effing scary. Shoot him between the eyes than burn him not once but twice to be certain we are safe.

It's the current style for anime/manga. Looks like the medium is digital painting. Could also be oekaki.

Really? No offense to fellow artist but that kinda look ugly (on first picture) or very interesting (on second one). However no matter which one, it has some allure to it... like leaving most things to reader's imagination.

I should check what Oekaki is sometimes.

I have no idea what style of paintings those are. The consensus seems to be animae. I usually do not like anime but that second image is friggin amazing!!!

I would love to have that as a poster.

It's done on MS Paint, or similar. The color is monochromatic, the style might be some kinda noir. Looks noir to me. I like the second one, kuz it's kinda like the stuff my mom's friends would paint back in the day. Makes me want a cigarette. I wouldn't call it anime style, more like anime-esque, and only the first one. The second has the feel of a Van Gogh, even if it doesn't look it. What's that called?

They're done digitally. The top one is really rough and sketchy. The bottom one is a bit impressionistic and looks like it could be concept art, or just a loosely done painting. Reminds me of Bladerunner.
