Location: Massachusetts Age: 20 Posts: 497 Join Date: Jul 2007 |  Queer Duck I learned about this when I was watching Scooby-Doo on zombie island and I decided to look up the voice actor for shaggy. While looking at his filmography I discovered a show he voiced called Queer Duck. So I looked it up and this is what I found: Queer Duck is an animated series that originally appeared on Icebox.com and later moved to the American cable television channel Showtime in 2002, where it aired as a followup feature of the American version of Queer as Folk. Although far from being the first gay cartoon character, Queer Duck was the first animated TV series to have homosexuality as its predominant theme. Like several later television cartoons, Queer Duck was animated in Macromedia Flash. It is the best cartoon I have ever seen. I imagine it would be a good read and teach kids acceptance and differences.
