So we went to the Walnut Room at the downtown Macy's today for lunch. It's sort of a Christmas tradition from back in the Marshall Fields days. Anyway, since we were there we went to the Holiday Shop down on the sixth floor to browse. Well, the Wedding Registry is also on the sixth floor--as is announced by large signage as you get off the central escalators on the sixth floor. The signage featured one very artful and quite large wedding photo--of two men! I don't know if this is all Macy's or just the downtown Chicago one or if each store has a variety of pictures to choose from and ours just picked that one--but I thought it was very cool that they don't just do that in gay publications but right out there on the sales floor. They were a cute couple.:icon_bigg
I love Macy's I never knew they were this cool (!):icon_bigg I should of got a job there now that I know their pro gay I wanna work at Macy's
I used to work there and there were positives and negatives. A big part is a had a weird emotionless robot as a boss. She was part of why I quit. Mostly it was like most part time jobs and they wanted more than it was worth.

Is that one Macy's too? Because that's actually not the photo my store was using. It was one of those pictures of the couple reaching around a tree to each other. They must have a whole array of gay wedding registry photos.
