About half the time. There's some people who claim to magically "know" before I even talked to them (there are straight guys who are more effeminate than me, just saying), and likewise there are people who are completely clueless.

If they don't know that I'm a young out gay man, they can usually guess, as I wear pride bracelets and sometimes a bracelet that supports LGBTQ people with HIV/AIDS.

Not directly, no. But they do suspect me to be very friendly to the community, as I've made several remarks and comments in favor of it.

I'm pretty openly queer, so I don't leave much to the imagination. :3

I wish I could say yes, but no unfortunately. Most people think I'm straight. :-( Until they get to know my personality.

Not really from what I can tell.

I get questions like "do you have any kids?" whereas here its still pretty rare for gay people to adopt, so it would be a very odd question to ask to a suspected gay man or to gauge sexuality.

A few have gone down the line of "are you single?", "whats your ex girlfriend like?", "wait, so you've never had a girlfriend?!", "do you have a problem with intimacy or are you just shy?", and then eventually "oh...are you gay?" as a last question so it doesn't seem to be what's first on their mind.

Depends on where. At work, there's no suspecting, I've got a mug on my desk that's got a pink, purple, and blue triangle, and it says "Why limit yourself to only half the population?" My parents have asked me if I'm gay many times (though not recently). Maybe once I come out to them about my gender, they'll stop bugging me about my hair.

Not really, no. Maybe they question it in their heads but I don't have any typical or stereotypical thing about me that screams LGBTQ+. You'll catch me wearing 5 year old hoodies and black pants with a graphic tee. When I talk, I talk about TV shows, video games or Youtube. There are plenty of people who still call me by my birth name and use the she/her pronouns.

Yes people have been calling it for seventh grade.

I hate how right they are.

Why hate it. You are who you are. Embrace it. Otherwise you end up hating yourself which is a little sad.

I don't think so (unless they're good at hiding it) but I can't imagine why. I mean I'm 28 and have never expressed any interest in girls. I don't really consider myself all that feminine, but I'm not exactly macho either.

Nope, I never gave any reason for anyone to suspect it.

I did get a question from my roommate asking if my brother was gay though... Just because "It caught me off guard how nice he was."

    As far know, he isn't.

I match some stereotypes, and yes, sometimes people do assume (I'm not flamboyant, but just subtle things about the way I dress, my voice, the things I'm interested in, etc.). Other times they don't assume it, but when they find out, they're not too surprised. It sure made coming out a lot easier...

To those, I'm not out to, the answer is no. I just come across as a regular guy and people are usually shocked when the find out I'm bisexual.

    Happy days

Usually not at all, but some people know that I've never really expressed an interest in girls, so...I'm surprised.
