So far so good. Spent the first few nights at school in KY with the bf, and we exchanged gifts. He's not Jewish so he's learning a lot about the customs and traditions from me as we go through the holidays. Then I came back home to CA to see my family, and we've had big extended family parties the last couple nights. I still need to give my parents their gifts, and I'm taking my sister shopping at some point as her gift.
My family's half Christian and half Jewish, though I am a professed agnostic. That being said they still go through the trouble of lightning candles and saying prayers during each night. They don't expect me to join in, which I like. But what I like even more are those delicious chocolate coins. In fact I'm eating one now.
