Legend of Korra

I really gotta start watching season 2

 

*dies of happiness* My ship wins!!! :love: I haven't finished the final season yet but this makes me so happy! ^~^ I've been reading the subtext since Korra and Asami first met!<3 :love:

 

I posted in another thread that I've being considering watching Avatar and Legend of Korra for a while now and when I heard about this I put them on my list. I probably won't get to them for a while but I'll definitely watch them sometime. I did, however, watch final scene of Legend of Korra on Youtube to see what everyone was talking about. So sweet!

 

I watched Avatar and the first season of Legend of Korra, I found it kinda disappointing after how awesome Avatar was.

 

Conversely, I keep rewatching the original series and get disappointed by how less awesome it is than Korra.

I was literally screaming and crying, then my sister walks in and is like "what's wrong with you?!" and I just continue to spaz :eusa_danc

 

So happy to finally see a non-stereotypical/negative bisexual representation in Western media.
And a great couple!

 

Am I the only one who is more concerned about who Su's father is? lol I was actually not surprised about the producers pushing through the Korrasami and I'm glad that they did.

 

I was so happy about this that when I watched the finale I was yelling (in excitement) at the computer screen I think it's great that they have representation of two bisexual women of colour, especially in animated shows like these presumably targeted towards a slightly younger demographic. It's a step forward and any step forward is a good one in my opinion! I've been following this show for a while now and I'm really grateful and happy that this happened

Everyone had to go and spoil the ending. I'm somewhere in season 2.... i liked avatar much better.

 

Yep, I think there's so many moments in Korra which are extremely dumb. Particularly stuff involving Bolin.

Okay, Bolin was like, TOLERABLE in the first book.
In the second he was starting to get annoying.
By the third I hated him. I fucking hated when he stuck that sock in Zaheer's mouth at the end. "Classic Bolin." Yeah, classic Bolin. Bad guys shouldn't be allowed to have their opinions because good and evil are obvious things, amirite? "Put a sock in it!" Wahahahaha! How kewl! I luv u bobo
By the fourth I literally could not stand him and his wack ass lavabending from nowhere, I think he is hands down the worst character in the entire Avatar series, he could easily have appeared in the M. Night Shamalamaman movie.
