    Dear members,

    As part of our annual tradition, the staff team has once again compiled a picture card and video message to wish you all a happy holiday season and all the best for the upcoming new year!

    Like previous years, 2014 has continued EC's expansion across the world, bringing in a whole new influx of community members who have reached out for support, offered their own support to others, and who have enriched the supportive values that EC strives to maintain. Whether you're an old-school member or a new arrival, the staff team have enjoyed each and every minute of getting to know you all.

    We hope that the new year brings you all the happiness that you deserve, and we will continue to be here to support you in any way that we can.

    Martin has a perfectly fine accent. Lex always keeps things exciting. Greatwhale, however, I was deeply offended by. Flaunting his homemade bread to the camera when none of us will be able to taste the finished product. It's just heartless!

    Ah man, this is so sweet. I actually feel quite touched. :slight_smile:

    I'd just like to thank you guys for providing such an amazing resource for the LGBT+ community. I've only been here for a few months but in that time I've seen people's lives changed by this forum. I joined because I wanted to support people who are going through what I've been through in the past, and I figured if I could make at least one person feel less alone then that'd be amazing - but you guys are heroes, look how many people you've helped! You all should be so proud of what you've accomplished, and the great work you continue to do.

    lol I understood you Martin but Ive spent a boatload of time in the UK... maybe that helps?

    Aha, it's good to know that people haven't struggled with it. Perhaps I overgeneralised the number of people who wouldn't be able to, based on comments I've had about it in the past. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Although, I had thought (and tried) to record the video using all the proper words. Then I watched it back and realised I had still somehow managed to swap words like 'my' for 'me', and 'I' for 'A'. :eusa_doh:
