So finally today I met the man I've loved for a long time. His name is Cody and he lives 9 hours away from me. We've declared eachother as best friends up until the point we became more. He thought I was going down somewhere else to visit family for the holidays, but really I've been planning out a trip alongside his parents. His mom brought him to a resturaunt for dinner today, with him still not knowing a single detail. When they got there, they stood in the lobby waiting for a table to be ready. I walked inside after them and there he was, facing away from me right by the door. At this point I felt as if I was going to fall over from shaking so much. I went up to him from behind and put my arm around his shoulder. We were both speechless and almost in tears. We hugged for a long time and then went to eat. We stared and giggled at each other the entire time. Im now back at the hotel and he's at home, waiting for tomorrow so we can hug again There is a video his mom took of us when I walked in, and I will post it as soon as I can. Just thought I'd tell you guys about it
Aww, I'm so happy to see this thread! I wondered how things were going on a couple of different occasions today and am glad to hear everything went so well! I hope you make the most of your time together and I can't wait to see that video. Such a nice story! How was Cody's mom when you first arrive? Was she as excited about this as you were?
His mom was super super excited. She was all for it all! And thanks everyone I had the time of my life. And it's only the first night
