I think I saw a contradiction there:

First he said that gay people bonded and identified too much with the parent of the opposite sex. Then later, he said that Rosie O'Donnell was gay because of her father's abuse.

Isn't abuse the opposite of bonding?

But on a side note.. Perhaps some gays want to be straight.. or perhaps some gays do turn completely straight.. But that doesn't mean ALL gays are the same! Imposing such generalization would only cause pain to those gays who can't turn straight!!
