So I've decided to tone myself up a bit more this year. I'm happy with my size but just need to get a bit more toned and active. I hate exercises particularly sweaty cardio urgh! So I decided to do a couple of beginners Pilates videos! Ouch my body n abs are aching!!!! I swore at the lady on the video umpteen times for acting like it was easy!

Anyone else do Pilates? Did it ache all over when you first started or am either doing it wrong or uber un fit?

I tried it for a while, using the machines (reformer, &c.), in Physical therapy. I have poor vision/balance, so I found that using the machines made it much easier than 'free form' versions. I wish I had the $$$ to go to more lessons, because it was one exercise I sorta liked, which is rare!

Oddly, I tried a few Yoga classes, and totally freaked out and had panic attacks...it's very hard for me to ever exercise around groups of people, I think as a result of having been so horrible in gym class, something which haunts me still.
