    since alot of people like obama I would like to defend a candidate that actually believe in Gay marriage unlike Obama

    If third party candidates had a shot of actually winning, more people would consider voting for them. The last major one was Ross Perot who ran against Bill Clinton and George HW Bush in 1992.

    If I was 18 american and thought he had any chance of winning I may vote for him though I agree with Obama on almost everything else

    It wouldn't be an election without Nader.

    But I don't see why they bother putting money into it at all. Third party candidates have never gotten enough support to even come close to the White House. Even Ross Perot was still a long shot away from sitting in the Oval Office. Both of my parents have said that they sometimes think they connect more with Nader than the major two candidates, but...I just can't see him going anywhere big.
