Lately I've been starting to hate America. This country has gone downhill so fast, and I'm tired of its shit. I would really like to move to Canada, but I'm still a minor so it will be a few years.

I don't hate america. I dislike some of the influences american government has had on the rest of the world, but I don't hate america in itself...nor the people.

There are a lot of things I don't like about America, but I can't particularly say that I hate it. I'm not overly patriotic, either, except for cheering for USA national teams.

I hate living here, and do plan to expatriate and renounce my citizenship at some point.

I don't hate. But I do get frustrated with limitations.

Every person and entity on this planet operates within its own set of limitations. Your limitations currently lead you to hate America. That's ok...but it's worth recognizing it for what it is.

But this country has serious limitations...on its compassion, on its level of responsibility, on its ability to act in its own interest...on lots of things, but basically on its level of maturity. And I get frustrated with many of those. But I also remind myself that *all* adolescents have limitations dealing with their level of maturity, and that's where this country currently is.

there are things i dislike, but it's like that for every other place. One of my most favorite places in the world is in fact here in America, and i suppose that could add to bias, but because of that. id be fine with staying here.

As an atheist, I hope that when I move abroad that I'll write an article for Salon.com or another news site called, "Why I Left the United States In Search of Religious Freedom."

I don't hate America. I hate that many Americans cannot stand to be criticised and consider that hatred.

A country great enough to have produced some of the modern world's wonders is also powerful enough to have inflicted some of its horrors. Politically it seems as much stagnant as it is morally weak and I can't respect large segments of US culture (especially those who refuse to take anything seriously except for a genuine reverence for the concept of America) and a certain type of sheltered ignorance that so many have. Much like many former European (especially English) colonies, it's drenched in history but a delusion of the self-made man with no strings behind him permeates the general belief.

I can't callously declare hatred for an entire country, even if I disapprove of much of its culture and institutions.

I hate America with a passion.

They have so rude, ignorant, and overly patriotic culture.

There are things that I dislike about the US, but overall I don't mind it here.

Now, if you ask me about Ohio... I want to get out of this state.

I know. I definitely laugh when the overly patriotic douche bags say, "If yew down like Murika, thin yew kin git ewt!" I'm not very Patriotic of my country anymore. Too much bullshit from the government, homophobes, and people who have a problem with effeminate men like myself. I'd LOVE to leave.

Being born and raised in Brazil, it's a country I truly admire. Of course it has its problems and there are many other countries that I look up to, but it's a good country in my opinion. I don't get all the hate it receives on the internet, especially from some Europeans.

I don't hate America but I do hate a lot of the culture. I hate how obsessed people get over sports, guns, patriotism, and country music!

Its almost like as soon as you disagree with someone they go off the hinges and you're enemy #1.

I've never lived anywhere's else but I'm sure EVERY country has its negatives and positives if not then that country would be over populated.

I generally feel bad for LGBT Americans. It's 2014 and their government is still fighting over equality. It's sad.

Thanks a lot. I now have this song stuck in my head:

    As for the question:
I don't hate America. There was a time when I wanted to move there, but I don't anymore. There are things I do like, as well as things that I do not like.

Let's put it this way; I would rather have the US as a great power, than Russia or China.
