Ok in about 11 hours im going on my first date with this amazing guy His name is Ryan and ive talked about him on here before and we are just going for lunch and for a long walk and seeing where things go from there.
He has the biggest heart of anyone i have ever met and with everything thats happened in his life the past few years its amazing.
I bought him some stuff the other day just to show him i really do care about him and he said he doesnt want anything , the only thing he wants is me.
He told me tonight he was thinking of cancelling the date cause he didnt get payed today and he wanted to buy me stuff and that but now he said that we could just go for a long walk but im going to buy lunch and i want to be romantic and take him to this place just down the road from where i live that sells the most amazing roses and im going to get him the most incredible one cause i want to see his gorgeous smile and i want to to laugh and forget about all the shit in his life for a day

But PLEASE temper your expectations a bit. If you expect the first time you meet with someone to be absolutely dreamy and romantic and perfect, you are setting yourself up to be disappointed almost all the time!

Relationships aren't an opportunity to escape from your every day reality, even if that reality is crappy. They are a way to make your every day reality better. So be realistic. Take it slow. Don't buy things for someone when you haven't even met them yet. You might be setting expectations for them that you can't maintain.

^That. Not to say that it's going to go poorly, because I really hope you have a great time, but don't set the bar higher than you can reach. Expect to enjoy yourself and his company, and let everything else be bonus.

^Yeah.. Remember you guys aren't even on first base yet. XD Really, don't rush into it because you never know what could happen. A friend of mine at school recently managed to get himself a boyfriend and now he's wanting to move to his school and marry him and all this stuff and they haven't even had a proper date yet. :S
